PRO-V-90 Visa

Frequently asked questions

How the marketplace works for Venezuelan companies and foreign specialists, and where to read about the visa itself.

The marketplace

Who can post a project?

Companies in Venezuela. A company creates an account and fills in a short profile in Spanish: legal name, RIF, economic activity, location and a contact person. We review the company before anything it posts goes live. Posting a project is free for companies.

Who can send proposals?

Foreign specialists, mostly US-based. A specialist creates a profile in English with a headline, country, years of experience, languages, areas of expertise from a fixed list, certifications, a short bio and availability, and can upload a CV and certificates. Only approved specialists can send proposals, one per project.

What do you review before an account goes live?

Every company and every specialist profile is reviewed before it goes public. Names are checked against the US Treasury’s OFAC sanctions lists, and a possible match holds the account for a manual check. We do not work with state bodies or companies the state controls: those sign-ups are rejected automatically. Badges on a profile name exactly what was checked, such as “Profile reviewed by PRO-V-90 Visa” or “Credentials document reviewed”.

What kind of assignment fits?

A short assignment of up to 90 days for a client in Venezuela, with no employment relationship. When a company publishes, we check the final text for a stay over 90 days, employment wording (a salary, payroll, a permanent position) and a state-owned end client. A post with any of these is held for review instead of going live. The check is not legal advice and does not guarantee any visa.

Does the specialist become the company’s employee?

No. On hire, both sides confirm a plain-language scope that says who does what, where and when, and that the specialist is not an employee and is paid directly by whoever engages them, outside the platform. PRO-V-90 Visa is not an employment agency.

Do the company and the specialist need a common language?

No. Companies write in Spanish and specialists in English. Each post gets an English version marked as an automatic translation, and every message keeps the original text plus a translation into the reader’s language, with the original one tap away.

How are fees paid? Do you take a commission?

The company and the specialist agree and settle fees directly. We never hold or forward money between them and take no cut of the fees.

When are contact details shared?

Neither side’s email or phone number is shown before a hire. Hiring reveals both sides’ contact details on the engagement page. Before a hire, a specialist sees the company’s name only if the company chose to show it.

What do you prepare when a company hires?

Both sides confirm the scope in writing. The company downloads a draft invitation letter (Word or PDF) built only from its own data and the engagement, which it reviews, signs on letterhead and uploads. Each person travelling gets their own PRO-V-90 case with the trip already filled in and the document checklist. Before the case is marked ready, we check that the company name, dates, site and contact match across the letter, the case and the itinerary.

Can a company bring a team?

Yes. One invitation letter lists everyone with their nationality, and each person gets their own PRO-V-90 case.

Who sees a specialist’s passport and visa documents?

Only the specialist. The marketplace never asks for passport numbers, national ID numbers or immigration status; those live only inside the specialist’s own PRO-V-90 case, opened after a hire. The company never gets the case links.

What don’t you do?

We never promise that a visa will be approved. We are an independent service, not affiliated with the Venezuelan government, and nothing on this site is legal advice. We are not an employment agency or a payment intermediary.
